Arthur Burton Beam, 66, of Moscow died on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Regional Hospital in Scranton, while surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Somerset, NJ, he was the son of the late Fredrick Floyd and Anna Mae (Tester) Beam. He worked as a highly skilled automotive technician and spent many years throughout his life building and racing cars on the stock car racing circuit in Maine. No matter where he was on the day of a NASCAR race, he was sure to tune into the channel showing it. He also was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed camping, hunting, and casting a line in search of the next big catch. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion at American Legion Wall-Sebring Post 274 and the Legion Riders at the Post.

Art is survived by his daughter: Jamie Michaud and her husband Sam of Hampden, ME; his sisters: June and Gwen; his brother: Fred; his grandson: Jackson and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister: Carol.
